The GL events Group is strongly committed to the protection of your personal data (hereinafter the "Data") and undertakes to collect and process your Data in accordance with Law n°78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016 (RGPD).

In order to determine exactly which company is responsible for the processing of your personal data, you just have to look at : -
the name of the company that is designated in the legal notice of the website you are visiting or from which you have been redirected as the publisher of the website;

THE DATA WE COLLECT INDIRECTLY

Finally, we may collect your Data through social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn...). This is particularly the case when your Data comes from publicly accessible sources or when you use social networks via our websites, by clicking on icons dedicated to social networks for example.

We may collect your Data through partners or other trusted third parties.

This is particularly the case when the purpose of the Data processing that we carry out is to process a request for an order or orders that you have placed with us.

  • You are one of our customers and we wish to send you communications and commercial prospecting for products or services similar to the one or those you have already acquired from us.
    Legitimate interest: exploitation and development of our commercial database.

  • You are one of our customers or prospects (for example, you signed up for one of our newsletters) and we want to perform internal analyses.
    Legitimate interest: exploitation and development of our commercial database.

  • You make a contact request.
    Legitimate interest: management of requests from our customers/prospects.

If you are a professional, we have a legitimate interest in processing your Data when:

  • You are one of our customers or prospects and we wish to send you communications and make commercial prospecting for any product or service and/or we wish to carry out internal analyses.
    Legitimate interest: exploitation and development of our commercial database.

  • You make a contact request to us.
    Legitimate interest: managing requests from our customers/prospects.

IV. You have consented to the processing of your Data

If you are an individual, this is the case when:

  • You are one of our customers and we would like to send you communications and marketing for products and services not similar to the one or ones you have already acquired from us.

  • You are one of our prospects and we would like to send you communications and marketing for our products and services.

  • You are one of our customers or prospects and we would like to send you partner communications.

  • We wish to transfer your Data to partners or trusted third parties.

If you are a professional, this is the case when we wish to transfer your Data to partners or trusted third parties.

IS THE COMMUNICATION OF YOUR DATA MANDATORY?

The Data that you must provide to us are identified by asterisks in our collection forms or identified as such.

In the event that you choose not to provide us with the above-mentioned Data, we will be unable to provide you with the service you request (contact request, processing of a quote request...).

WHO WILL RECEIVE YOUR DATA?

The recipients of your Data are the relevant departments of the controller (see Who is the controller? for more details).

Our partners may also be recipients of your Data if you have agreed to this.

Trade show organizers may make available a badge scanning service at trade show booths. This service allows visitors to transmit their contact information directly to the exhibitor, thereby saving time. The visitor is expressly informed, and as such, is deemed to expressly accept that by making use of this service provided by the data controller, part of his Data (company name, surname, first name, postal address, email, telephone and mobile) will be transferred to the exhibitor for whom the service will have been used, and this, notwithstanding the fact that the visitor has, at the time of his registration or pre-registration, refused to transmit his Data to partners.

We may also use trusted third parties such as IT service providers, who may then be recipients of your Data.

Finally, we may also share your Data with subsidiaries of the GL events Group, either because you have consented to it, or because it is necessary for the performance of a contract or a service that you have requested from the data controller.

Some of these trusted third parties and certain GL events group subsidiaries may be located outside the European Union. Where necessary, appropriate safeguards have been taken, notably through the implementation of standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

We keep your Data : -
for the time necessary for the operations for which they were collected, in accordance with the legislation and regulations in force;
- when we carry out commercial prospecting, for a maximum period of five years from the last effective contact with the prospect, except for exceptions justified by a particular context;
- for the time necessary to fulfil legal obligations. Examples:

  • Contracts or agreements concluded within the framework of a commercial relationship are kept throughout the commercial relationship and 5 years after the end of the commercial relationship;

  • Contracts concluded by electronic means are kept for 10 years from the delivery or performance of the service;

  • The banking documents are kept throughout the commercial relationship and 5 years after the end of the commercial relationship;

  • Etc...

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS AND HOW TO EXERCISE THEM?

You have the right to access, rectify, and delete your Data, the right to limit the processing of your Data, the right to portability of your Data, and the right to define general and specific directives defining the manner in which you wish your rights to be exercised after your death.

You are expressly informed that you also have the right to object to the processing of your Data for legitimate reasons, as well as the right to object to the use of your Data for commercial prospecting purposes.
